 Seventh Day Baptists have no creed save the Bible, and no creedal test
 save a regenerate heart, Baptism, the Sabbath, and a Christian life.

It is also true that Seventh Day Baptists have crafted statements that reflect the nature of the doctrine of the group. They did not rush into writing these documents; it was more than 30 years from the start of the General Conference to the point when a doctrinal statement was written by this association of churches. The statement was rewritten about every 50 years after that.
